Compliance Coordinator

Compliance is how we protect our customers and fulfil our broadcast licence obligations for content in our multiple territories. From Germany to Austria to Switzerland, to Japan, the USA, Canada, Italy, Spain and GLOBAL, we are growing fast. To help us do that, and make sure we look after our customers as we do, we are looking for a Compliance Executive to support our broadcast growth. As a compliance executive, you're responsible for ensuring that DAZN complies with its outside broadcast regulatory requirements and internal policies and processes. In short, you're responsible for making sure that your employer plays by the rules. Regulations are different in different parts of the world, but the intention is the same, protecting the audience and meeting the local rules governing broadcasting. We need a Executive who is able to span the different rules in different territories, making sure our processes are built and keep our staff advised accordingly.

As our new Compliance Coordinator you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist in the management of the global regulatory processes.
• Be comfortable with all aspects of broadcast regulations to make informed decisions
• Build relationships for compliance issues, working with our multiple internal teams from broadcasting to legal, together with the Compliance Manager, you will be a point of contact for all stakeholders concerning issues such as sponsorship, advertising, product placement, watershed issues, potentially harmful content, and protection of young people.
• You will be expected to understand the regulatory issues in each territory we operate in and be able to advise on how we remain within guidelines. Ideally you will have experience of regulatory issues across different territories.
• You will be a process driver and clear thinker who can get to the detail of an issue quickly and give informed and rational advice.
• You will be viewing & complying of 3rd party acquisition and in house produced and commissioned content as well as re-versions, cutdowns and fillers ensuring these are compliant for transmission
• You will get to interact with senior leaders. It is essential that you are comfortable and able to communicate to all levels of the business.

You'll be set up for success if you have:

• Experience in a broadcast environment.
• Knowledge of the various regulatory bodies and their responsibilities and remits
• An understanding of the commercial world of broadcast sports sponsorship and advertising.
• An understanding of world sport, with awareness of potential issues around combat sports.
• Calm under pressure and able to assess and explain issues quickly and clearly.
• Able to think about our content with an editorial eye
• A Good understanding of current, digital, professional editing/broadcasting technology, rights management systems and WhatsOn
