BOBJ Consultant , level 2 - IN

Job Description: The BOBJ Consultant is responsible for development, administration, and support of BO enterprise environments and all its services, clustering, failover, and installation and configuration in Windows platform. This person will provide development, administration, and implementation support for various projects in BO including Business Objects Web Intelligence (Webi), Universe, CMC.…ETC.  Requirements: ·       Must have experience in installation, maintenance, administration, and upgrades of BOBJ environments.·       Should have experience to plan, administer and maintain BO folder hierarchy and security. Creating users/user groups and setting up user security is required. ·       Should be able to develop effective standards, best practices, procedures, and key metrics to enhance operational stability of the BO environments and develop support procedures for Business Objects infrastructure is essential. ·       Responsibilities include user training, tuning the System for best performance and monitor the system usage, administering report delivery using the distribution services, development of universes based on dimensional models, ·       Experience in maintaining optimal performance of business intelligence application, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and tuning. ·       Must have excellent knowledge and understanding of data warehousing, relational database concepts, including analytical tools, architecture, interface processes, networking, multidimensional modelling, data warehouse concepts, and data conversion. ·       Required knowledge on analysing data and interface requirements and data conversion methods ·       Must have excellent knowledge on creating root cause analysis document for an issue resolving. ·       Must have excellent knowledge on weekly\monthly BOBJ backups process. ·       Required knowledge on BODS like monitoring the jobs, rerunning the jobs, debugging the logs and finding the root cause for failures……. etc.·       Must have excellent business analysis skills and be able to interact with business staff or end user to derive and interpret business needs. ·       Must have strong communication skills and a proficiency of detailed documentation. ·       Organizational ability in prioritizing assignments, meeting deadlines, and handling simultaneous projects. ·       Good business knowledge on life sciences modules.·       The person must be able to function with minimal supervision/direction, regularly operate under deadlines and may be subject to heavy workloads.·       The person should work on rotational shifts.  About Rackspace TechnologyWe are the multicloud solutions experts.
