This position requires an experienced professional with a background in the development of Android systems. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Android software engineer to work on navigation experience in automotive infotainment system.
• Work in conjunction with the PM/UX design team to define, scope, and refine the user-facing features and interactions.
• Design, implement, and deliver the in-vehicle software utilizing the underlying platform, frameworks, and SDKs. 
• Work in conjunction with platform software engineers to analyze and optimize the system to achieve a highly responsive user experience. 
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve relevant issues based on testing, and user validation. 

Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years of industry experience in Android development, and proven industry experience of shipping Android software products. 
• Domain knowledge and experience of software development on the Android system, and have worked with multiple area of Android SDK. 
• Experience in API design, performance optimization, client architecture, or tools in the mobile space. 
• Experience with Android location framework and Location based feature development. 
• Experience with Map/navigation related development.
• Proficiency in Java programming to write clean and well structured code.
• Experience with IDEs, source code management, unit testing, code review, issue tracking, and graphics performance analysis tools. 
• Preferred
• 1+ year work experience on a product version of map/navigation app development
• Experience on multiple screens and complex UI development.
• Experience on EV routing and charging station search related development
• Experience on using 1+ popular map SDKs for map app development
• Experience on cross platforms/boards development
• Experience on HUD or AR related development
Education
• BS in Computer Science or related degree.
Language skills
• Fluent in writing and speaking of Chinese and English
