Visual Analytics Specialist II – IN Job Profile Summary :Analyzes business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations based on business data and market knowledge. Generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. Integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. May create specifications for reports based on business requests. Determines how tables relate to each other and how fields interact within the tables for a relational model. May include company-wide, web-enabled solutions.POLICY COMPLIANCE: Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedures and any other relevant policies and standards as directed.Key Responsibilities•Contributes to solution of straightforward business problems regarding operations, products, services or customers. •Analyzes information, asks questions and checks for understanding using standard procedures within the job family. •Applies acquired skills and experience to complete moderately complex, but routine tasks. •Continues to develop expertise. •-visual analysis for stakeholders •-adhoc reporting •-requirements gathering •-provide recommendations to business leadersKnowledge• Impacts own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related. Strong working knowledge of BI tools such as Qlik, Tableau and/or Looker. •Experience with self-service data processing tools (SQL, R, Python) and/or cloud-based data processing tools. Flexible, able to persevere in a fast-paced work environment, and willing to seek new ways to look at data. •Understanding of statistical principles and concepts. •Experience working with subscription-oriented datasets. •Experience communicating data driven insights to senior management. An ability to verbally communicate highly technical concepts to, at times, non-technical audiences.
