The Inside Sales Representative at Rackspace Technology offers direct support to Account Executives by conducting company research, cold outreach, and building rapport with both existing and new customers. The role is crucial for meeting growth targets and expanding the company's reach. Responsibilities encompass supporting sales across the Rackspace portfolio, managing accounts, and facilitating the onboarding process for new logo customers.Work Location: Remote in CDMX and Estado de Mexico.Fluent, Bi-lingual (Spanish and English): Please submit a resume in English to be considered for the role. interviews will be held in English.
Responsibilities:
- Identify decision makers in targeted accounts and leverage existing customer base for lead generation in prospecting campaigns.
- Cross-sell within targeted accounts and provide qualified opportunities to Strategic Account Executives.
- Support the sales process by managing quotes, obtaining approvals, and facilitating contract closure, including small-dollar upgrade opportunities.
- Aid in marketing efforts to expand share of wallet, including account research, event promotion, and collaboration with sales representatives.
- Conduct sales presentations, handle inbound calls, prepare contracts, and proposals, and negotiate legal terms while maintaining brand identity and corporate positioning.
- Interact with mid to upper-level management in enterprise and mid-market sectors, adapt work practices to improve efficiency, and resolve problems using standard practices.
- Maintain internal relationships, assess the need for external contacts, analyze pursuits, and align work activities with the customer sales strategy to meet revenue quotas.
- Manage client data in CRM, update monthly forecasts and pipeline activities regularly, expand prospect database, and attend sales training sessions.
Experience:
- Requires 1-3 years of related experience in telesales and/or inside sales.
- Requires solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
- B2B sales experience preferred.
- Experience in the technology industry preferred.
- Prefer previous experience developing business relationships with enterprise companies.
- Prefer previous success qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
Travel:
- Travel to the office for in-person collaboration 10-15% of the time.
- Conduct occasional in-person customer meetings.
