System Cybersecurity II

Avint LLC is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented System Cybersecurity II to join our team in the Hanscom AFB/Concord MA area. The person in this position shall ensure that all system and application deliverables meet the requirements of DoD and Air Force Cybersecurity policies and directives.

The activities within this position include:

• Confirms that 100% of the total labor provided to deliver cybersecurity services are certified in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M
• Supporting activities and meet the requirements of DoDI 8520.02, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key (PK) Enabling, in order to achieve standardized, PKI-supported capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification and authentication. 
• Promoting awareness of security issues among management and ensuring sound security principles are reflected in Avints’ visions and goals.
• Make certain that all system deliverables comply with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policy, specifically DoDI 8500.01, Cybersecurity, and AFI 33-200, Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management.
• Certifies that cybersecurity policy is implemented correctly on systems, Contractors shall ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force Certification and Accreditation policies, specifically Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology, and AFI 33-210, The Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Air Force Information Technology.  
• Assessing security events to determine impact and implementing mitigations, remediations, and/or other corrective actions.

Requirements

• Possess knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to preform tasks related to System Cybersecurity.
• Possess the ability to perform tasks with minimal oversight
• Possess the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within the established program and project guidelines.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply cybersecurity standards, procedures and practices within the organization
• Possess the ability to explain cybersecurity principles and how they affect cross functional areas through written and/or oral communication
• Degree and Education Requirements:

• BA/BS, 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 3 years must be in the DoD
• OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 5 of which must be in the DOD.
