You’ll think in terms of architecture, not just code, and will help elevate our ability to deploy and operate high availability systems worldwide.As a Software Development Engineer on the team, you will architect, design, build and operate a new Web services at scale, interfacing with teams ranging from the front-end to the back-end, and delivering the plumbing in-between. Basic Qualifications

• Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 1+ years of experience in software development

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• Received at a minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM related field such as IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• Proficiency in one of the following languages: Java, C++, or C

Preferred Qualifications

• Received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• Previous technical internship(s)
• Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases
• Experience in optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly
