RMF Information System Security Officer

Avint LLC is seeking a RMF Information System Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the robust cybersecurity posture of assigned information system boundaries. You will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and managing technical requirements related to cybersecurity and information assurance. This role involves reviewing documentation, providing feedback, and implementing measures to ensure systems meet cybersecurity standards and comply with government requirements and industry best practices.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ultimately responsible for the cybersecurity posture for assigned information system boundaries.
• Develop, maintain, and manage cyber security and information assurance related technical system requirements.
• Review and provide feedback on cybersecurity documentation to ensure they meet cybersecurity requirements.
• Help ensure systems meet cybersecurity standards. Verify and validate systems are built, configured, and hardened in a way that will pass assessment and receive authorization.
• Develop and document remediation's for technical areas that cannot be hardened following best practices.
• Execute and document risk assessments of systems to evaluate compliance with government requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Proven experience in cybersecurity and information assurance roles.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity standards, government requirements, and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
