Information System Security Officer

Avint LLC is seeking an ISSO to apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. This SME will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats.

Position Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the ISSM & ISSE to ensure the DevSecOps system maintains compliance with the clients authority to operate across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS
• Maintain the DevSecOps system eMASS records
• Ensure the DevSecOps system maintains a secure posture with respect to policy, procedures and client standards and perform vulnerability assessments as needed
• Review and assess the risk of all Coder Workspace images
• Review and assess the risk of all software libraries made available to customers by the DevSecOps team

Requirements

Qualifications:

• BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with at least 5 years of experience as a cybersecurity professional OR 10 years of experience as a cybersecurity professional in lieu of a degree
• 5 years of experience with assessment and accreditation of a national security system (NSS)
• DoD 8570 certification
• Performs tasks with increasing levels of difficulty with minimal oversight from others ​
• Demonstrates increased proficiency within your assigned functional areas ​
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, oral and written
• Actively participates in working sessions to exchange ideas and develop solutions
• Proactively collaborates with peers​

• Provides limited support to growth initiatives in area of proficiency, e.g., white papers, proposals, slide development, conferences etc..​
